Det Kempke, born 1963, grew up in Ummeln, a small village near Bielefeld in Westphalia. Does not sound exciting, it is not (laughs). Studying at the FH Dortmund, Dusseldorf, with detours through then in London, Paris and New York to Hamburg. Qualified designer and member of the BFF.
